EtherWAN switches are available in many form factors, including stand-alone, desktop, DIN rail and rack-mount. Easily installed in a standard 19-inch rack or enclosure, the rack-mounted switches shown below also support Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing them to transmit electric power along with data over standard twisted pair Ethernet cabling. This allows a single cable to provide both data connection and electric power to devices such as wireless access points, IP cameras, and VoIP phones.
